Hello swimmers!

On this first day of 2012 I decided to start a blog about our amazing swims on the West Coast of Scotland.  I’m Iona and, together with my friend Lottie, we’ve done everything from toe dips to marathon adventures, nature swims, dawn, dusk and midnight forays, lit up by starlight and phosphorescence.

Once we learn how to blog we hope to let you share our wonderful, watery West Coast world!

So here goes…

Starting with New Year’s Day Dip at Ardfern when about 20 water lovers submersed themselves in beautifully cold, windy and wavy water, swam round the yachts and emerged energised and ready for 2012.
